I just got back from a rock climbing/workout session and on my 2nd try I finally made it up this really hard wall where you start out straight vertical, then the wall changes to parallel to the ground for like 6 feet, and then it goes vertical again. I made it to the top, which was about 12 feet high (it goes higher but we were climbing without ropes today and that's as high as they let you go). Sylvester Stalone has nothing on me. I'm pretty much addicted to climbing now because it's so challenging. I tried this wall like 3 times last week and fell all 3 times, so today my only goal was to make it up the damn thing. The cool thing about climbing is that even though that wall was really tough, it doesn't even compare to a lot of the walls there. This one was tough but a little easier than others because most of the holds were bigger, which helped when I was hanging parallel to the ground, and also when I got to the second vertical section where I was just hanging and pulling myself up with my arms. The wall next to it is similar, but the holds are big enough for like 2 fingers...which is insane imo. Maybe in a few months...
Tonight was pretty fun. I went and helped Veronica at the church she works at watch 10 Hispanic children ranging from age 5-9. They wore me out...we played duck duck goose, capture the flag, and then I had to simultaneously push 3 kids on the swing which is kind of hard, and then they played inside where I learned how to make paper boats. I desperately wanted to yell out "I'm on a boat mother fucker" but I thought that was inappropriate seeing as how I was in a church surrounded by kids. After that we went climbing, then worked out our chest and triceps at the gym. Needless to say, I'm dead tired, but on the way home I stopped at McDonald's to get a coffee in hopes that it will help me stay awake until 5am basketball.
On the poker front, everything has been going well. I'm pretty much killing it this month, although I haven't played much since I wasn't home the 1st week, and then have taken several days off either because I wanted to or because Cake's tables were dead. And by dead, I mean on Friday night there were only 5 1/2 FR tables running at 10PM. Yesterday, there were like 6 tables running and Ringer and I sat and played hu on like 4 new tables and what do you know all of the tables filled up pretty quickly. Hardly any of the regs will play us hu though, so it's kind of hard to get stuff started. Speaking of Ringer...that fucker has stacked me 4 times in the past week or so...twice when we were dicking around at .25/.50 PLO (I was a 65/35 favorite one hand for 200bb's and a 55/45 dog for 100bb's)and twice at 1/2 NLHE. He hadn't stacked me before this week, but the PLO hands were super standard and only 1 of the NLHE hands I misplayed and could have folded to his river crai. I did stack his ass twice on the .05/.10 PLO table we were playing, so it's all good. Yes, I did say 5 cent/10 cent PLO...stfu you haters, that's going to pay for my first lap dance at the Rhino this summer. Ship it!
I have so much to say since I haven't updated in a while, but I'll catch up later. I'm off to get my fix of Search & Destroy for the night...I'm so addicted right now it's ridiculous. I'm pretty sure that this month I've played more Call of Duty than poker, how sad is that?

LOL Hand Of The Day
I can't really complain though, I've had 3 back-to-back +$500 sessions since returning from my trip. I've only played 4521 hands though...so LOL sample size, although I am down in EV but that doesn't really matter. I do still feel rusty at times, but I think I've been playing my A- game. Anyway, I was bored so I figured I would post that hand. Oh here's a WTF hand from yesterday...I knew this player was nitty but I didn't know he was THAT nitty:

Diet, What's That?
I got home at 1PM on Friday, only to find out that my plans of getting into my house through my garage were flawed since my parents locked the door when they were checking up on my house. I called my Dad and found out my keys were at their house, so I met him, my brother, and my niece at the mall where they were waiting to get pictures taken with the easter bunny. Turns out my niece is scared of the easter bunny and she made a big scene in the mall, right when I arrived. She used to be cute...not so much anymore. Haha j/k, she's awesome. Anyway, I ran my Dad home and got my keys, then met my family over at my Grandma's house because my Aunt from Georgia is in town. I hung out there for a while then went home to take a nap because Veronica wanted to go out later that night.
After waking up I drove to Indy and got to the bar like 30 minutes after Veronica, Alicia, Alicia's boyfriend, and his friends and when I walked in both Alicia and Veronica both came running over to me and gave me huge hugs. It's pretty refreshing to have such good friends like that who genuinely missed me while I was gone. I also found it funny that the first thing Veronica said to me was "Wow you've gained weight in your face" and they were joking with me calling me a fatty (I did put on 7 lbs on the trip). Anyhow, I was shocked because Veronica was double fisting two AMF's (Adios Mother Fuckers), and she told me they were #7 and #8. She hardly ever drinks, so this was a rare occasion which ended in her finishing 11 AMFs and a jello shot before telling me that she was going to puke. She walked off to the bathroom with her head held low in shame and I grabbed Alicia to go hold her hair back if need be. Luckily she didn't puke, but she was so drunk I was basically her crutch while walking to my car. So that night ended at like 1:30AM which kinda sucked but I was already buzzed anyway so no worries. The next morning we woke up and she wanted to get breakfast and stop at a store before her church gathering, so we went and did that and I tried not to act too bad since she was talking non-stop because that's how she is when she's drunk...and that doesn't cope too well with me. I absolutely hates the mornings, especially when feeling somewhat hungover.
I did pretty much nothing all day Saturday except drink lots of water, start to get caught up on all my DVR'd shows, and try to remember how to pwn 13 year olds at Call of Duty. There are new maps out now which are pretty awesome, so I was trying to run around those and learn everything, seeing as how I'm a month behind all the hardcore players. On Sunday I slept in and didn't even go to church, then Veronica texted me and said she wanted to drink 5 beers. After confirming that she was serious (she's a children's pastor and it was Easter Sunday lol) I got ready and we went to a pub in Indy. We had a few beers there and then went across the street to BW3's and drank some more, only to leave with her drunk again and me buzzed again. Here I was planning on getting pretty serious about my diet when I got back and have drank 2 out of 3 nights.
So much for my diet I guess. Monday I went to Pizza King with my Grandma and Aunt, then went back to Grandma's house for some strawberry pie. Then today after rockclimbing and working out with Veronica, we went to Red Lobster and I had cole slaw, mashed potatoes, bisquits, and fish....of which only 1 is really good for me. Not to mention the two girly frozen drinks I had (I got addicted to smoothies on the trip and frozen margaritas were their closest thing). Speaking of rockclimbing...I went today to see if I would like it and dragged Veronica with me because she's always up for whatever, and turns out it's a blast. We ended up getting a membership for a month and have already planned to go back on Friday. I'm wanting to learn and get good at it because Jinmoon was talking about going to Zion Nat. Park in Utah this summer and doing some bouldering and rock climbing, along with hiking, camping, etc. It sounds like a blast so I want to be able to at least hold my own at rock climbing.
Last but not least, I've been working in Photoshop quite a bit with my pictures from the trip, so hopefully I"ll have those done soon so I can show them off. I took about 300 pictures but there were a ton of bad ones, so thank god for digital cameras. Also, tonight I played my first session of poker since returning from the trip and made $500, although I'm not too happy about it because I didn't play very good. I expected that because I was trying to 12 table again and just plain remember how to play, but hey a win is a win. I was happy there were only 12 tables going tonight because usually when I take time off then try to play again, I time out all over the place because my response and decision times are slowed. I did have one epic misclick today where simultaneously I called a river bet on a table I wanted to fold on, and folded on the table I wanted to call on. I'm pretty sure that's the first time I've done that, but the tables were above and below eachother and I knew what I wanted to do on each of them so I didn't really notice which table I was clicking buttons on. Oh well, it only cost me roughly $50ish, but still that's pretty retarded of me.

Finally, We Escaped Texas
Wow, what a fun time Texas was...NOT! Naw, it was fun, it was just frustrating. El Nino and his girlfriend came to pick up Nfuego and I the night that the car broke down, so we just chilled in the hotel room until they got there. It was around midnight when they arrived, so we went to Denny's to grab some dinner. To make a bad day even worse, the service there was absolutely horrible. The waitor brought our food out and Nfuego's order was nowhere to be found, nor were my pancakes. When I asked him if my meal came with pancakes, because I was pretty sure they did, he said yes and walked away. I was stunned; he didn't say sorry or offer to put the order in for them. He did the same thing to Nfuego later; he asked him if he would like a refill of Diet Coke, Nfuego said yes, and then the waitor walked away and Nfuego never got a refill. Anyway, we left him a $1 tip...shitty I know, and I hate doing that but it was absolutely horrendous service. We left there in a pleasant mood and got to El Nino's house around 5AM.
El Nino had already purchased 3 tickets for the Indians vs. Rangers season opener the next day, which is why he wanted to pick us up and make sure we got to the game. Huge props to him and his girlfriend coming to pick us up! The next morning Nfuego went and rented a car and we left around 10AM to head to the stadium. Let me just preface the story by informing you that I don't like baseball at all. Especially after 4 hours of sleep and sitting in traffic for an hour trying to get to the parking lot for the stadium. Anyhow, we got there and I decided to make things interesting I was going to root for the Rangers since Nfuego is a die hard Indians fan. He's been hyping the Indians the whole trip, so when they were down 4-0 in the 1st inning I made sure to rub it in. El Nino and I were high fiving each other and the fans after each great play the Rangers made, while Nfuego sat there sulking, watching his home team get their asses handed to them. One time, this guy came up to the plate for the Rangers and I really liked his name (Jarrod Saltalamacchia), and I yelled out "Home Run!" Nfuego laughed at me and said "he's not going to hit a home run" and what do you know, boom, first pitch and the ball is going...going...gone. Haha, that moment felt so great! I then brought up his name and called him something like Saltimanacaum and they were all laughing at me, but I didn't care. Even though the game itself was as boring as listening to a Nascar race, I was having a good time even though I did get two hard elbows from Nfuego.
After the game we went and watched Michigan State get stomped, and then we went back to El Nino's and I played a short online session and made $300. I then sweated him playing for a while and tried to teach him to open his game up a little, so hopefully he works on that because I think it will improve his game a lot. The next day we just chilled and didn't really do much, except for anxiously wait on news about Nfuego's car. On Tuesday the three of us went bowling along with El Nino's girlfriend and Mom, which was a fun time even though I suck at bowling. I started doing a little better when I started flinging the ball down there as fast as possible, but my aim still sucked so it didn't matter all that much. I think my highest score was like 80. We found out the next day that Nfuego's car got fixed ($2k for a new tranny), so we made the 4 hour drive out there to pick it up. On the way out there, we literally got run off the road by a semi. Nfuego was following a semi and was passing another semi on the left, and as we're about halfway in between the front and the back of his trailer, he puts on his left turn signal and starts merging into our lane. I'm freaking out because the trailer was coming right at me, but Nfuego acted quick enough and got the car over on the shoulder, which luckily was wide enough for our car. I have now witnessed the ultra-passive Nfuego (he has an AF of less than 1 in poker and it carries over to his personality) flip off a semi driver and honk his horn at two vehicles on this trip. Anyway, we picked his car up and I drove it and he followed in the rental car back to El Nino's house. We left this morning and are just outside of Louisville, Kentucky now after a long day of driving.
Next stop: Home!!!

FORD: Fixed Or Repaired Daily
Ok, before I can tell the fun stories from today, I guess I should fill you in on our adventures in San Diego. ChkRazed was gracious enough to let us stay at his house for a few nights and show us around town, so props to him. We went to the Mission Beach area to check it out one day, and he showed us around the town on the drive out there. The next night we went to the Barona casino, where both ChkRazed and I got beat up in the 1/3 game by a bunch of donkeys. He started calling me the nickname "FML" after I said very loudly "Fuck my life" while throwing my AK into the muck after losing to the biggest donkey on earth when he tabled his Q4o that he called my UTG raise and a cbet with on a K94 flop (the turn was another 4). I lost like $700 that night. The next night we went out to eat at ChkRazed's favorite Mexican restaurant, which was very good, then went to a pool hall and played several games of cutthroat until Bruechips showed up and then we played doubles. After that we went to Cheetah's, a fully nude strip club. That was a first for me, but the trade off was they didn't serve alcohol. Was it worth it? Hell yeah! Of course I got suckered into a dance from a girl from Indiana...go Hoosiers!
We left the next day for Phoenix and got in pretty late there, but we had time to eat at Cooperstown, a restaurant with goth looking waitresses wearing Alice Cooper-like makeup. The next morning we went to Casino Arizona and played some $5 blackjack. I finished up $155 after being down $50, then working my way up a few bets and starting to bet bigger with the house's money. Nfuego finished up like $15 grinding out his $5 bets lol. We left from there and headed to New Mexico for a quick overnight stay and got on the road about 9 this morning. He drove until we stopped for lunch at Subway, then I asked to drive because I was getting bored in the passenger seat. We were going on I-10 in western Texas, and he had been driving 85, so I set the cruise for 84 and off we went. After a few hours I noticed a cop car driving the opposite direction and then looked in my rearview mirror and saw it cross the median and pull out our direction. I said something like "Oh great I'm going to get pulled over for going 4 over" and Steve replied "They usually don't clock you going the opposite direction" but sure enough he came zooming up behind me with his lights on. Fuck my life. He came walking up with his cowboy hat on and said he got me for speeding, going 84 in an 80. After checking up on our story and my ID and insurance, he just issued me a warning. Shwew, thank you sir!
A few hours later I pulled into a gas station to fill up, then drove over to Dairy Queen to get a milkshake. While we're sitting in the drive-thru the car starts idling funny so I put it in park. After ordering I put it in drive and push on the gas, only to hear the engine rev. What the heck? After turning the car off and putting it back in drive, it decided to cooperate and actually move...only to do the same thing at the pickup window...and at the stop sign. I turned the car off and let it sit for a while, then asked Nfuego if he wanted to try to take it on the Interstate or stay near the exit where there was a hotel and looked to be an auto repair shop. He said go for it, so I drove his '95 Ford Taurus down the on ramp. I got it up to 70 MPH and turned on the cruise, but knew something was weird. While going up the next hill the transmission started slipping or something, the car started lurching forward, and then it just basically died. I barely got it up the hill and pulled over off the Interstate. To make a long story short, we drove the car to a transmission repair shop, walked the 2.5 miles back to the hotel that we checked into, and are now waiting on El Nino and his girlfriend to come pick us up...which is a 4 hour drive. I'm really hoping his transmission isn't fried because that's going to be super expensive, but in the meantime we're going to stay at El Nino's as planned, go to the Cleveland Indians season opener tomorrow as planned, and wait to hear back about his car. Wish us luck!
