Poker, What Else?

First off, to all the mothers reading this...Happy Mother's Day!

Lol yeah right who am I kidding? Ain't no mothers reading this shit.

So this weekend was pretty sick poker-wise; unfortunately I can't show a graph or post any hh's because the converter doesn't work since the latest Cake update...but man it was a doozy. Friday night I got stuck at least $1500 (probably more, but the last time I checked my balance I was around -$1500 and wanted to puke so I didn't check it again) but I staged a huge comeback to finish up $150. Some of the big hands were me getting stacked at 2/4 after squeezing preflop and then stacking off on a JTTxx board where he obviously had JT (I quit my 2/4 tables after that b/c I was afraid of tilting), then I bluffed off a 200bb stack at 200NL SB vs. BB when I 4b the BB who's kinda nitty but seems to play back at me with A9, then I proceeded to crai on a 765 flop and he looked me up with TT...sigh, then I won a pot w/ bottom set where I minraised on the flop and got two retards to stack off with top pair and that's what sparked my upswing. I followed that session up with a +$600ish session last night and a rollercoaster session tonight where I was up 1k then back to even but finished +$700ish, so it's been an ok weekend I guess. I haven't been playing my A game much lately and have probably been playing something more like my B or B- game, but luckily it is still good enough to beat the games. I really wish I could go over my sessions from this weekend because I've had some really cool spots come up where I was like "Hmm I don't know what I'm going to do if the villain does this..." and then the villain did exactly what I was afraid of. It's amazing how this game is just a continual learning process.

I need to leave for Vegas no later than Friday, but hopefully I'll get out of the house by Thursday. I have so much to do and so little time...it's pretty frustrating. I just can't wait to be out there and settled in. Soaking in the pool in the 90 degree weather sounds quite refreshing right now...or in the hot tub after a really hard workout...god I can't wait.
