Epic Fail: Hero Fold Gone Bad

Two of Damn Ringer's friends came into town yesterday so after hanging out by the pool and pre-drinking during the day we went to the Wynn to play some poker. After paying the $35 cab fare (we're only like 15 mins from the strip) we went in and put our names on the 1/3 list. It took a little while for us all to get seated at the same table, and when I did like my third hand there I get dealt 22 UTG, I limp in and a guy in MP raises, he gets like 3 callers so I call as well. I was loving the T82cc flop...for about a minute...until the action went the guy in MP cbet, an Asian guy raises, and Klein (Ringer's friend) shoves. I show the guy to my right my set of deuces as I fold and the Asian guy called. Klein showed up with 88. Later I get QQ on the button, one guy who is a CR's member limps in MP, I raise and the flop comes down Q97cc. He check/raises me so I just shoved I think...stacks were a little deeper than 100bb, but anyway he called and showed 77. I then had a hand where Klein opened from UTG, I flatted w/ 88, another guy to my left called and the flop came down 764ss. He cbet, I raised, the guy to my left flatted and Klein folded. I figured he had me beat when I raised, but I also knew that he knew that so I was hoping to level him. Turns out he had 99, but anyway I shoved the turn and the guy called with AJss for the nut flush draw and 2 overs but the river was a brick so I shipped the pot.

So now for the epic story about a hero fold gone bad...4 of us at our table had agreed to do the deuce-seven bounty game at the table for $5 each. Ringer was UTG and did some kind of fake straddle although he looked at his cards so it was really just a minraise to $6, 1 or 2 more people called and I looked down at 72cc. I raised to $40 and Ringer called after not much thought at all and the other guys folded. Well damn, I would've liked to take it down pre but whatever. The flop comes down T96 with one club, so I had picked up a gutter and a backdoor flush draw to go with my seven high. Ringer checks, I bet $60, he raises to $180 leaving only $120 behind and here's what went through my head. First thing I did was count my profit and see if I went with the hand and lost how much I would be up, which was like $150 so I was ok with that. Then I thought I had went this far with the 72 bluff, and I did have some equity in the hand so why not shove? The actual deciding factor was that I thought I could level the shit out of him because he would think I would never be stupid enough to bluff in that spot so I thought I did have a decent amount of fold equity. Not to mention the times when he's bluffing himself. So I shoved. He folded KK. King mother fucking king. Two kings. Cowboys. Getting like 4:1. Hooooollllyyy shit.

I tabled my 72 and the table went hysterical, with me actually having to get up from the table from laughing too hard. The look on Ringer's face was so epic when he saw my cards, it was a look of total disbelief and disgust for getting owned so hard. The best part was he still had to pay me $5 from the 72 bounty when the hand was over. Everyone's been talking about the hand since which is funny because Ringer's getting needled left and right. Even he's been talking about it...right as soon as he woke up yesterday morning he was like "Damn you Vizer." Poor guy.

Oh yeah, I ended up popping my puking in Vegas cherry that night after having to bail from a beer pong game to run to the bathroom. I had like 8 or 9 beers probably, but still I feel like such a lightweight, but I know by the time this summer is over I'll probably be an alcoholic.
