The Man, The Myth, The Craps Legend

Yep, you guessed it, that's me. Nfuego and I went to meet his friend from high school, Todd, and knock off a few beers before heading to Red Rock casino. Todd and his roommate Mike have been doing well at the craps tables the last few weeks, so we figured we'd go with them and borrow some of their mojo. When we got there, I went to get food because I'm always hungry, and they went to scope out the craps tables. When I went looking for them they were playing $5 blackjack because the craps tables were full, so I sat down, determined to only bet $5 each time. Luckily we didn't stay long because spots opened up at craps, so I only finished down about $15. I bought in for $200 at craps and by the time it reached Nfuego to shoot I was stuck like $220. He ended up rolling 3 points before crapping out and made me like $60. I was the next shooter and I pick up the dice and start an epic session of craps. 40 minutes and 5 points later I finally crapped out, after netting myself about $225 in profits(at a $5 craps table) . Not only that, I had one guy come over and tip me $25. I know I made a few guys at the table well over $500 because they were playing all the numbers and had been pressing them, and I was hitting everything but 7. Anyway, I got Nfuego back to even for the night, and got his friends unstuck and up $100ish as well, so I felt pretty good. The guy next to me told me that it was a craps roll to tell stories about, and I'm sure I'll never match it...but I'll definitely remember it for a while.

I made the smart move of quitting after Todd rolled, locking in my profits for craps. Todd and Mike didn't quit and they ended up losing their $200. I ended up wandering over to a Texas Hold'em Bonus table, and after watching it for about 10 minutes I decided to give it a shot. It says it's a $5 table, but in reality you're betting $20-30 each hand, so it gets pretty swingy. I was up $100 and down $100 several times throughout the session. I even got pocket aces dealt to me twice which netted me $150 each time, and I was stilll down money when I thinking of quitting. I finally got dealt AKs, which paid me $100 on my $5 bonus bet, so I decided to quit since I was even on the session. We left and I passed out so quick when I got home. Tonight we're going to watch some of the games, and I may go into the Flamingo to meet up with Dobieatwar before that. Peace!
